Dutch defender Sven Botman has revealed he intends to leave Lille this summer. Amid links with Newcastle and AC Milan, the defender has confirmed both teams are interested in signing him.

“Negotiations are ongoing now. I’m not going to talk about that at all. But it went well I hope the transfer for the new season will be fine. Probably in pre-season, yes.”
Botman also revealed that both Newcastle and AC Milan are interest. But declined to go into further details.
“Those clubs are interest in me. I can’t say more. What I want is to move on to good competition. I am still looking forward to taking this new step.”
“I know exactly what I want. That doesn’t have to be with that club or that competition. You weigh everything and the overview works for you. I would definitely feel very good about it.”
